Thanks to its flexible and longer than normal head, it adapts to the skin and covers more surface area with each pass. Each face of the card is differentiated by a color, the black face is for detangling and the gray face is for brushing and stretching the hair due to the placement of the spikes in each case.

This brush was groomer recommended to me to help with my standard poodle’s thick curly hair so she didn’t get matting in her undercoat. It’s comfortable on my dog. It makes her relax and just lie there while I brush her fur. I highly recommend this brush!

I usually don’t write reviews, although before buying a product like this, I always read them. Problem is, you never know if you can believe them. Well, you can believe this. I have a one year old mini Goldendoodle who I swore would like being brushed and taking baths…and she did. Until she was hit by the sprinklers and I missed a few nights with the brush. I knew nothing about Matting, I always had mutts who were really only brushed because they shed.So when my sweet puppy started to growl and snap at me when I brushed her, I was kind of clueless. Long story short, we had a major matting crisis and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it under control. Worse part, she would no longer come when called. Like she was afraid I was hiding one of those dreaded de-matting tools behind my back. I had no choice and the groomer confirmed, we had to shaved off her hair……. and a lot of her personality. This is a very gentle slicker used for dematting my Coton de Tulear. It is not for a full brush out. It is gentle on skin and small for small dogs. Very useful dematting tool.

I have all German Shepard’s except, one Goldendoodle. Brushes for German shepherd and Belgian malinois are not the best for Goldendoodle’s. Goldendoodle require more bushing then my other K9s. A groom suggest this ARTERO Double Flexible Slicker brush. I am very happy with this brush and how effective it is on Goldendoodle. Would buy again for sure.

I have a Coton de Tulear puppy who needs to be regularly groomed and brushed every night. Recently we discovered he loves to swim but it tends to tangle his hair. This brush is amazing in getting rid of mats and normal daily detangling. Since he is a puppy he is still getting used to getting brushed and this brush has by far been the easiest to use and was reccomended to us by the groomer we use. Highly highly reccomend this brush especially the smaller size as it is helpful to have more control when brushing legs and around his face!
