S-Tubo MTB
Even lighter, even more compact, ideal as a spare tube: The S-Tubo-MTB product line was developed to have a minimum possible packaging size. With a removable valve stem, the tubes have a size of only 3,5cm x 5cm height when packaged. The puncture resistance is the same as with standard butyl rubber tubes with a weight of only 45g (for 29″).

Light and takes up little space. I use it as a spare tube and put it in my Jersey pocket or bike sadddle bag.

I am a mountain biker this tube popped after about two weeks the value is not there

Will only get you out once. Will not last long if you try and use as replacement for rubber tubes. Once you get a puncture, even a goat head… Its over. You can’t use sealant in them per manufacture. My guess is sealant eats the vinyl. Sealant I tried didn’t work to fix, and even ordered vinyl patches and that failed too. At the price point you would expect them to be better then a normal rubber tube, but they are not. Don’t spend your money on these unless all you want is a one time escape from the trail.

A little pricey compared to standard tubes, but this is NO standard tube. This is light, compact, puncture resilient – making this the perfect solution for maximizing space in your “get back kit”.

I’ve yet to use it since it’s just a spare for emergencies. I run tubeless set up. I’m confident it will work as designed.

The manager from Wheel and Sprocket in Appleton said these were more reliable than a tubeless setup. Ten minutes into the first ride of the season and the rear tire went flat. Stay Tubeless!!
