If you don’t use a KMC chain on your bike you best always be prepared your SRAM is going to snap. Wanting a decent reliable chain just buy KMC, for 20 years on every bike I’ve had I always use a KMC

I planned to use this on my SRAM eagle 12sp drivetrain. The wide link in the chain doesn’t fit well on SRAM’s 12sp chainrings (x-sync 2) because the space inside the link is too small to fit the wide tooth of the chainring. This caused a lot of noise, especially when in the lowest gear (50 tooth sprocket). See photo above: GX eagle chain (top) and KMC x12 chain (bottom).

I’ve been using this chain on my SRAM based rig for a few months now and can’t say I’ve had any problems worthy of mention.

Did not work on brand new eagle chainring, doesn’t sit all the way between teeth . Works ok on wolftooth chainring but doesn’t shift well or run quite compared to x0 or xx1 eagle chains .

weak chain – broke 2 this year – wont buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this chain before on a different bike, bought it for my new bike to complete the “boujee” look I was going for. Couldn’t be happier. Bike looks great, and chain works as a chain should

  15. J.Sandle (verified owner)

Looked great for a while but started showing issues after 100 miles and after another 200 checking against a brand new chain of the same length, it was stretched about half a chain length.I waxed it from the very first mile it went on the bike and maintained it religiously after every ride. Disappointing waste of money. At least maybe I can drape it around my neck next halloween and go around as Mr T

  16. Matt (verified owner)

Does not work with eagle drivetrain. This chain will jump off the chainring after full rotation. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR AN EAGLE DRIVETRAIN!

Been using this on a regular mechanical GX system then a GX AXS system for a total of about 2000 miles. Still shifting flawlessly and noise free. I do wipe my chain down every ride and clean it weekly.
