The perfect seat! I know a seat is very personal to everyone but this one I see around quite a bit. I used to have numbness issues but they disappeared onceI got this. This is my second in this model. Taller women with at least a medium frame should consider ditching the women’s model and use the men’s.

Seat fits pretty well and adds more comfort during my rides than the old seat. However, I still have to wear padded riding shorts. My problem with the product is the lack of detail in the sales material available on the net or on Amazon. There are too many merchants selling these seats and very little descriptive material on each of their pages. I really needed to know the dimensions, especially the width and length from the center of the seat pads to the tip of the front. I was lucky because I had to guess and I got one that fit me fairly well. Even the packaging on the seat failed to provide enough information.

Replaced an old Nashbar FC1 seat that I’d had for 5 years and about 12-14K miles. Finally felt like it was losing its loft in the foam. That was a comfortable seat and still looks good but they don’t make those seats anymore. Tried both the SMP TRK and the SMP Extra. The TRK was the winner for the more casual riding that I do on my hybrid. The Extra would be the winner in a more aggressive posture.Spent some time getting the seat position dialed in. Height, angle, distance front/back. Once dialed in, it has become the most comfortable saddle I’ve used. My normal 20-25 mile rides are no problem and leave me with no soreness. I also have been getting about one mph improvement in time and can stretch out my distance (if I have the time). The cover appears to be quite sturdy and I don’t slide around on the saddle. Construction in general is very good quality. I have my seat about 3-5 degrees lower in the front and that seems best for me.May 18, 2022. Can’t believe I’

I got this saddle after having issues with my crotch going numb after 10 miles or so and then being sensitive from the prolonged pressure. The good news is that this saddle completely solved that problem for me! It’s a pretty firm saddle and I feel no pressure on my crotch anymore. I do feel pressure on my sit bones but that’s inevitable. It wasn’t terrible and the discomfort didn’t last once I got off the saddle. The way the tip dips down, though, created a new problem for my thighs. I wore shorts for a 25 mile ride and wasn’t anticipating that my thighs would rub against the tip; I’ve never had a saddle that dips like this so it’s never been an issue, and I tested it on a short ride when wearing pants so I hadn’t noticed it. Ouch! I ended up with some bad blisters as a result. Just a word of warning if you have thicker thighs like me, always make sure they’re covered so you don’t end up with blisters!Otherwise I’m very happy with the saddle. It’s great quality and my rides are more comfortable for it, just so long as I wear longer shorts!

I have a SMP Drakon on my road bike, and chose this saddle for my heavy training/gravel bike. It feels great, but the build is not as good. I don’t ride this bike much and it should give me a few years of use. For it’s purpose it will be great. The channel is wider and it’s padded in comparison to my other SMP. Install was easy, but different from the other. The beak has a steeper drop, and the rails are different. It still only took a couple of adjustments to dial it in. I ride some pretty harsh gravel. I will welcome the padding and pressure relief. As I loose weight the flat saddles I had were causing numbness, and pain. I will follow-up in a year.

Lifesaver!!!! ..or rather butt saver! ? I’m a 5’9 150lbs female with medium sized hips. I bought the medium saddle which is perfection!I’ve been riding road bikes and mountain bikes for over 25 years. I had come to accept that my nether regions would always be painfully sore after ever ride. Usually, 10 miles in I’m lifting off the saddle for relief. Finally, I found this saddle…read all the reviews. There was one female reviewer in particular that sold me on buying a man seat! I decided to pull the trigger and so glad I did.I’ve ridden roughly 100 miles this week…and completely forgot about my bum. My rides have been a dream! So ladies, consider this one for sparing your lady parts! You’ll love it!

I tried one of these saddles as the OEM saddle was getting to be a real pain in the … I have been riding more and longer distances and I began to suffer. The Selle SMP TRK saddle looked interesting so I thought I would try it. It solved my sore soft tissue issues and then some. I could ride longer and really enjoy my rides.I bought another one for a second bike. Then after riding my fat tire bike for 20 miles using the OEM saddle I decided that bike too needed a new saddle. All the bad symptons that the saddle solved came back after that one ride. Winter is coming and I will be using the Fat Tire bake more and more. While not exactly as pictured. It feels the same and that is all that matters. Very comfortable for me. You have to try it to see if it works for you. The medium works fine for me. They also have a large model and Gel cushion.. I have been using it for only a few months so I cannot say how durable it will be.

I was really hoping to love this seat to replace my current seat on Peloton bike. I did like the long hole in middle. My biggest issue was the edges of seat. They are very sharp and ridged and cause severe chaffing. My legs were constantly rubbing the nose of seat and on my up stroke, the back of my legs were hitting the seat and those sharp edges. Also my sits bones were really hurting with that big curved seat. Just not comfortable at all. I’m about 125 lbs for reference. I gave it a month and had to put old seat back on. I have rode for over 2 years and understand discomfort with seat change but this was terrible.

Update: Customer service was a terrible experience. Claimed my stock seat post mount on my Trek was not adequate to mount this saddle and refused the return. I compared my stock mount with the mount outlined on their website and it matches all the criteria. Customer service has ghosted my return request. Unacceptable level of care for a “premium” brand.Mounted this saddle and was happy with the relief in the perineum – no numbness down there is a good thing on longer rides. The downside is the rails and saddle don’t stay truly flat. Notice the right side of the seat is higher than the left side (left side of picture is high side). This creates pain in my right groin area radiating into my hamstring. I’ve have tried adjusting the mount but it doesn’t fix the problem. Gonna warranty this one and find another saddle.

I bought this seat because of the curved design. Honestly I don’t know if I like it yet. I’ve had my bike on the trainer due to the weather and haven’t taken it outside in a while. On the trainer the seat is comfortable when leaning forward with my hands on the grips but if I sit up and ride I tend to slide forward on it. I don’t know if this will be an issue while on the road, I rarely take my hands off the bars. Other than that it’s a pretty nice seat and I feel like it reduces pressure on my man parts on longer rides.
