Likes: the pen writes very well and makes drawing much easier (for this type of pen). The color is on point compared to the picture shown on Amazon. 2nd like is by far the delivery service by Prime/UPS. My better half had 3 packages (I had only my pen) all which delivered at the promised time, my pen on the other hand did not…peeved I was. However later that night I had a knock on my door and a pen deliver by my usual UPS driver. So cool.Not liked: I ordered the pen with black ink and an additional 5 cartridges. When I pushed the cartridge that came with the pen in and started writing I saw it was blue, wtf? Oh well, I’ll just write it out and use the black cartridges I ordered.

Great value. This set is a great value. I have seen the pen itself selling for $29 on average. So with cartridges and a converter, it’s a steal. I was concerned whether or not it was original but it seems to check all the boxes for an original last pen. The writing quality is great as well.

I ordered this fountain pen after watching videos for fountain pen newbies. The pen is just lovely and writes smoothly. I have small hands and can use it with or without it capped. The ink dries quick on paper and no smudges.

I Will order from this seller again. I am impressed with how fast my order arrived. These aren’t “seconds” they are brand new. The ink flows smoothly. Very happy with the entire process. I just wish they had more ink colors.

Overall, this pen has good weight and is easy to write out of the box. I had no problem filling the converter with ink and inserting it into the pen. Though it is plastic, it has a pretty sturdy feel and does not feel cheap.My only con is that the ink flow is heavy out of the nib, even though it is a fine point nib. You have to be careful on some paper. Even trying to adjust the nib to reduce the ink flow did not resolve this issue. To me, this is not a reason to deduct a star – it is more of a good-to-know so you can be mindful when writing with this instrument.

This is an excellent fountain pen. I wouldn’t recommend if its your first. The pressure I use to write with produces to most satisfying scratching sound on the paper. I’ve used it on notebook, paper, copy paper, and construction paper. The ink flow is consistent on all surfaces tried so far. It has a grip that forces it to rest in your hand at the perfect position to maintain the nib at the proper writing angle.Seemed a little flimsy when I opened the package. Do not be discouraged, it is only a spacer to keep the ink from being penetrated during transit. Remove that and it fits perfectly together for a solid writing pen.

This pen was reasonably priced and works like a gem everytime I pick it up. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same of several of my more expensive fountain pens. I also liked the fact that it came with a box of 5 ink cartridges and a converter for bottled ink refills as part of the purchase deal. Great gift idea for someone who is now getting into fountain pen use.
