This primer works as good as or better than some high end, very expensive primers I have used. A little bit goes a long way with this. It is a bit thick so you only need to use a little bit to create a thin layer on your face.It doesn’t have a scent to it (as far as I can tell). It goes on very nicely, really smooth. It fills in acne scars, fine lines, basically it creates a smooth canvas for you to work with.I use it on days I don’t wear foundation as well because it makes you skin look very healthy, it gives it a nice “glow” so to speak. When I do use it with foundation, my foundation stays in place all day and goes on very smoothly. It keeps your foundation from creasing into fine lines (I have the start of crows feet around my eyes- yikes!) and acne scars/pits (and I have some big ones, don’t pick at your pimples people!).

As a professional makeup artist I have tried many different brands of primer from the very expensive to the inexpensive ones. I have fallen in love with this Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer. It goes on nicely and absorbs into the skin quickly. It does everything a face primer should. It evens out skin texture and creates a smooth surface for makeup to be applied over. It helps the makeup to last longer and stay matte throughout the day and leaves the skin feeling smooth.

Have been using this product for year in place of a foundation, and I am in my 60’s. It makes my skin look great, and is good for older person w/ pretty skin who does not want to use much make-up. Can highly recommend it. The clear color is now perfect. Will continue to use forever. The best I have found.

Primer is a MUST for me and I have a few favorites that I use. For some reason, I decided to try a new primer and I chose Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer. The price was good and I generally like Rimmel products. I don’t like this one. This is a thin lotion-like primer. It’s white and feels like lotion on my skin. I have used plenty like this so that was no surprise. What was a surprise is that my makeup wore off after a few hours. I have tried even $1.00 primers that were better at prolonging my makeup and keeping my face looking fresh.I did not break out or have any problems with the formula. It just didn’t do what I wanted it to. It did give my dry skin a slightly dewy canvas to apply my cosmetics but it must have absorbed into my skin because I looked washed out after three or four hours. Most of the primers I use allow me not to have to reapply all day and into the night. I only reapply concealer under my eyes because I have dark circles that never hide for

Just got it and only used a few times so far but I like it. It’s more water hard so it doesn’t have that oily silicon feeling but at the same time it moisturized like a light lotion. I always set with powder and spray regardless of the primer I use.

This is my favorite primer ever and the only thing that I wasn’t happy with was the fact that the tube was about half empty when I got it. Not sure what happened with that. I’ve bought it from stores in the past but haven’t found it for awhile so I ordered it here. For almost $9 I expected better.

I wish this was easier to find. This is worth the money. I use another primer for the majority of my face because I’m always worried about finding this one again. I use this one for the problem areas- dry areas and fine lines. It can take a minute or two, but then it smooth everything so well. Excellent product. The experience with the seller and shipping were ideal.
