Good as primary tubes. Not recommended as backups because the liquid inside makes them bulky when deflated, you can’t pack them as small as a normal inner tube.

I absolutely loved these tubes. I ordered these for my mountain bike because there is no shortage of thorns where I live. I went through 3 tubes before these, and I haven’t had to change them ever after. Only annoying part is that to adjust pressure, some “slime” comes out of the valve, but it’s not an issue if you keep the valve at the top of the tire. Also, they’re significantly heavier than regular tubes.

Ordered two tubes, but didn’t use them until well after return window. Both leaked when inflated from porosity in the rubber. The slime actually oozed out of multiple little holes in the tube casing. Wasted money.

Any protection from a flat tyre is welcome and this does that. Hard to say whether it makes a massive difference but why wouldn’t you. Price here a little expensive but delivery was efficient and quick so no complaints. Seems I’ve had a few too many punctures recently so fingers cross these do the job now on the front and back

I was looking for Slime tubes in 29 x 2.6. Thought these would work as butyl rubber stretches like crazy. I think I over stretched them and they were not able to seal on first puncture. That left me walking home with green slime all over my bike
