I purchased this product for my adult son who has a dry scalp problem – unsure if it’s dandruff or something else. He asked for my advice on what to use because the regular drugstore dandruff shampoos seemed to be making it worse, or at least not helping. I personally use SebaMed products and really liked them, so purchased this particular shampoo for my son. He reports that it works better than anything he’s ever used. His scalp problem has considerably cleared up after using this shampoo.

Very hydrating. Not greasy, doesn’t weigh hair down like many other moisturizing shampoos—scalp feels clean with no residue. I’ve noticed significantly less irritation with way less dryness, itching, redness, breakouts, and hair shedding that I began to experience with regular shampoos and even other special scalp care and dandruff shampoos (I’ve tried nearly every brand in the stores). I could tell there was a change starting after the first few washes. I only use this shampoo about every other day or every two days and use the Sebamed dandruff shampoo on days in-between with an Aveeno conditioner. It seems to be working well; my scalp is finally healing and returning to normal.

When you read “Allergy Friendly,” you should read it as welcoming to all allergies, not as hypoallergenic. This shampoo has everything bad it in along with a really strong perfume. Waste of money.

Best shampoo for my dry scalp I’ve ever tried! It’s a little drying on the actual hair, so I’d recommend getting an intensive/deep conditioner to balance that out. I’ve struggled for so many years with a dry scalp (NOT dandruff) and most people/shampoos interchange dandruff and dry scalp. The dandruff shampoos and conditioners did nothing for me. I have a sensitive scalp and this has been just fine as far as not causing any reactions. It’s so amazing to be able to raise my eyebrows and not feel it through my whole head! I also don’t need to be embarrassed anymore when my boyfriend rubs his fingers through my scalp/hair because it feels like a normal scalp!
