GYEON | Quartz Q2 Trim 30 ml – Advanced Ceramic Coating for Plastics | Enhances Color – UV Protection

(10 customer reviews)
SKU: B00OLN7NNE Brand:

COLOR ENHANCEMENT – Q² Trim is not just a protective coating, but represents very strong restorative/color enhancement qualities.
VERSATILE FORMULA – Q² Trim has a formula that allows it to be applied on different vehicle parts: on plastics with their own structure, on unpainted parts, on so-called piano black finishes, which are most problematic to maintain, and on the taillight and headlight covers after having them renovated. That unique quality is unlikely to be found in other available products.
CERAMIC BASED – The major difference between Q² Trim and various other trim restoring products is its pure SiO₂ base car ceramic coating. It does not leave an oily layer on the trim’s surface but strongly bonds with its structure, leaving a thick coat.

Description

Gyeon Trim is the most technologically advanced product to seal and protect your exterior plastic and rubber trim. It also works brilliantly on renovated headlamps, preventing oxidation and loss of clarity. HOW TO USE: Before application, make sure that the surface is oil free and completely dry and avoid direct sunlight application. Apply trim onto the suede microfiber cloth included with the kit and use the foam block as hard surface that’ll help you glide the cloth thoroughly through your trim pieces. Repeat until entire car is coated.

Wanted something more durable than regular trim dressings. Gave Gyeon a try and I love it. Is been a couple of weeks of rain and snow and the car trim still looks good. The trim looks like new. Used it around the door black trim and in the windshield wiper cowl. Followed all the instructions, easy to apply, I let it cure in the garage until the nest day before I drove the car.

  2. Chris Frerichs (verified owner)

This is kind of tricky to apply, it seemed to me I didn’t have enough on the applicator on both coats. However, when I washed the car it was like Rain-x on the wheels. Absolutely keeps the wheels cleaner and much easier to clean. Great product

  3. William Lewis (verified owner)

I had been using Mother’s Back to Black which looks good, but doesn’t last any time at all. The Gyeon trim has been on for months, has been through multiple washings and rain storms and still looks great. Highly recommended

  4. Johnny (verified owner)

Great product, just takes time to apply. It will last a very long time, 6 months or more. Worth every penny. Just be conservative on how much you use and definitely use the felt applicators.

  5. Dylan douglas (verified owner)

Looks good right after your done..applied about 6 months ago and I can already tell it’s starting to fail…go with carpro dlux..it lasts a lot long than this does

  6. Teresa Martin (verified owner)

After cleaning trim and drying over night, this product went on just fine. It looked good. Waited 3 weeks to wash car in auto car wash. After wash the trim has cloudy white areas on the plastic trim where this product was applied. I can not get the cloudy areas to come out as I tried top coating it with more Trim. Honorable product that has ruined parts of my trim.In the past I have used C-Quartz trim protector and it lasted 3 to 4 years and never reacted to a car wash like this Gyeon Trim has. Ruined my trim on my car with no good way of removing this Gyeon Trim. Replacement of trim looks to be the only way to get the trim back at this time. The price of this product has been very little compaired to the price of replacing the trim on the car. Stay away from this stuff.

My vehicle had less than 10 miles on it. I treated it, as directed, I usually assume that with such terrible results, it must have been my fault. But I did the paint and the wheels with different products and was not unhappy with those. Having been about two years in the Pacific Northwest weather, the trim now looks as if it’s 20 years old.Seriously, my 10 year old Chevy Avalanche trim looks better than this now does.In fact it looks so terrible that I feel that the possibility that the trim was somehow defective from the factory? That’s extremely unlikely. I’m very cautious about badmouthing a product, but this stuff did the opposite of what it was supposed to. The truth is that if I screwed up the application, then it’s way too easy to screw up, because I thought that I did it perfectly, ie, clean, applying in garage, no direct sunlight, correct temp, reasonable humidity, etc.

  8. Chris (verified owner)

It’s pricey but you don’t have to apply monthly like the cheap stuff. I have this on lower plastic trim and wheelwells. I can tell a difference with road debris not sticking to wheelwells. Snow and ice just falls off before I pull in the garage. Very easy to apply.

  9. Jim B (verified owner)

I’ve used Gyeon Trim on my Porsches and Honda CR-V. It does a great job of providing a protective matt finish that lasts a long time. Restores aged trim as well as protecting new trim.

  10. Victor (verified owner)

Product flashes quickly, prone to residual high spots. Seems to required lots of product to achieve even coating. Darkens look of trim, not matte flat finish even after spreading and buffing off with towel.
